BMW has launched the X5 xDrive 30d in the M Sport trim in India. This new trim has a few design changes and other than that, the powertrain is still the same. This will be the new top spec model of X5 replacing the previous xLine. The BMW X5 xDrive 30d M is priced at ₹97.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), which is ₹3 lakh more than the ertswhile xLine that was priced at ₹94.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The M Sport design package offers a new front bumper, rear diffuser, tailpipes, M Sport brake calipers, M-specific car key, and M Sport logos on the sides. The M Sports sits above the SportX Plus trim which makes it the top model. The M Sport gets steering-mounted paddle shifters, launch control, adaptive air suspension, electric tailgate, adaptive LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting, a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, head-up display, and a 360-degree camera, 20-inch M Sport alloy wheels, and BMW live cockpit professional with gesture control.
The power of X5 xDrive 30d M Sports comes from the same unchanged engine which is a 3.0-liter BMW twin-power six-cylinder turbocharged diesel producing 265 hp and 620 nm of torque, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to all four wheels via the xDrive system. The performance of this SUV is the same as any other X5 trim. it can run from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.
This top-spec variant BMW X5 xDrive 30d M Sport comes with an M Sport body kit and alloy wheels. The BMW X5 goes up against the likes of Audi Q7, Land Rover Discovery, and Volvo XC90.
